Walter’s Wheels Contest & Giveaway

Today, in honor of National Cat Day, blue manatee press is offering young readers the chance to participate in a very special “Where Is Walter?” contest and giveaway! If you’re a fan of Walter’s Wheels, or if you have children who love to draw and create, share your ideas with us for a chance to win some very special prizes!

Interested? Here’s what you need to know:

1. Have your child (ages 3-6 only, please) draw or create a scene of Walter in their favorite place. It could be the park, the zoo, the baseball diamond, or even at home!

2. Fill out the contest form at the bottom of the page with your child’s name and age and your contact information. There is also a line for a parent to sign giving blue manatee press permission to display the artwork on their Facebook page.

3. Send both the form and the drawing in a private message on the blue manatee press Facebook page by Friday, November 13, 2015.

4. One grand prize winner and two runner-up winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 18, 2015.Waltercat

5. No purchase necessary to enter. Contest open to U.S. residents only. Limit one entry per child. No limits on creativity or imagination.

Here’s the best part: the two runner-up winners will each receive a signed, personalized copy of Walter’s Wheels. The grand prize winner will receive a signed copy PLUS an original piece of artwork by the book’s author and illustrator, Noelle Dingeldein!

So what are you waiting for? Roll up your sleeves, gather your markers, your clay, your pencils, whatever you want, and show us the place that you and Walter like to explore! Good luck!

These students submitted wonderful entries for the Skippyjon Jones Snow What drawing contest, but due to a typo on our entry form, they were sent to the wrong email address, and alas did not arrive in time to be included in the contest. Mea culpa.
